On our site you will find several pieces about DMT, the spirit molecule and the beings people describe alongside it. Fair question: if you find it so interesting, why don't you sell it? Honest answer, in three reasons.
Reason 1: the law
The simplest one first. In the Netherlands DMT falls under the Opium Act and is not legal. Magic truffles are. We stay within the law, full stop. That is not moral superiority, just the foundation of a trustworthy shop that keeps you out of trouble and stays out of trouble itself.
Reason 2: it is not a beginner's substance
But suppose it were legal, even then we would be cautious. The DMT experience is extremely intense and can barely be dosed in careful steps, you are in the middle of it in an instant. Magic truffles, by contrast, lend themselves to a calm, gradual introduction, where you start low and build up at your own pace, see dosing truffles without a scale. That fits our harm reduction approach, an overwhelming experience without any groundwork built up does not.
Reason 3: we only sell what we can stand behind
We do not want to be a shop that sells everything that is intense and exciting. We would rather offer a smaller range we honestly stand behind than fill our assortment with things we would really have to steer you away from. You will find that same attitude in our checklist for a trustworthy smartshop.
Why we write about it anyway
Because an honest knowledge base does not pretend the rest does not exist. You deserve good, level-headed information about the whole landscape, especially about what we do not sell, so you can put it in perspective. Curious about the basics? Read what is DMT. This article is informational and not medical advice. Magic truffles are legal in the Netherlands for people aged 18 and over, DMT is not.
